Doorbell rings and it's instant chaos?

Do they come when called? Or only when they feel like it?

Over-excited with no "off switch," especially around guests?

Does your dog walk you, instead of the other way around?

Meet your trainer

Hi, I'm Olive!

Certified Master Trainer

18+ Years of Experience

I've been around dogs my whole life, starting with my father's kennels as a kid.

After a career in business, I moved to Ireland in 1996 to work hands-on at a Greyhound kennel, where I spent over a decade training the toughest cases: anxious, fearful, and traumatized dogs who needed to rebuild trust and confidence.

By 2008, I was back in Canada as a Certified Master Trainer, and I opened Doggy Do's & Don'ts to bring that same approach to family pets. Training that's holistic, in-home, and built around how your dog actually thinks and learns.

It's a privilege to walk into your home and help change your dog's behavior, and your life with them in ways you didn't think were possible.

Real results

What clients say after one session with Olive

Our puppy is now more relaxed

After 1 session, we began to see such dramatic change in our beloved puppy that we had hope for the first time! Within 1 week we had a dog who was remarkably more settled, showed a complete absence of food aggression, and would obey our 3-year-old without fault.

Highly recommend Olive

We were completely astounded at how quickly we started to see behavioural changes. We can now leave our dogs alone, and they're also much calmer greeting people at the door. We highly recommend Olive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a consultation or the real session?

This is the full 3-hour session. Not a teaser. You'll leave with a real plan and real results.

What happens after I pay?

You will be redirected to fill out an intake form. This helps Olive learn more about you and your dog. Olive will then contact you to set up a time to come to your home and start the single most transformative 3 hours of your dog's life!

Why is it $500? That seems too expensive.

For many owners, the real expense is never fixing the problem. Stress-related vet bills, damaged belongings, ineffective training attempts, and years of frustration can easily cost far more than $500.

Our 3-hour private session is designed to solve problems quickly and often helps owners avoid ineffective programs that typically start at $1,000+. Investing now can save you both money and years of stress.

Will this actually work for my dog?

Olive has trained 1000+ dogs in her career. That's a LOT of dogs. Her 18+ years of experience allow her to use the 3-hour session effectively, without cutting corners. Most owners see a measurable change in their dog after the session.

My dog is older, is it too late?

No. Older dogs often progress faster than puppies, because they already have more impulse control. Age isn't the barrier people assume it is.

My dog is reactive/aggressive. Can you handle that?

Yes. This is specifically what we're built for. We use humane, structured protocols (including muzzles as a safety step when needed, never as punishment) to work with reactive and aggressive dogs safely and effectively.

My partner isn't fully on board. What then?

That's normal. Usually the partner who's lived with the daily struggle is sold, and the other one just hasn't seen it up close yet. $500 sounds steep from the outside.

Good news: both of you need to be there anyway. It's what actually makes this work. Everyone giving your dog the same signals. Most skeptical partners aren't convinced by a conversation. They're convinced by hour two, handling the dog themselves and watching them respond.

Send them this page. Book the session. Let the results do the convincing.

I've already tried training and it didn't work. Why would this be different?

Because your dog was never the problem. The method was. Group classes train in a room full of strangers, away from where your dog's actual triggers live. We train at your front door, on your street, in your real life. That's the difference.

Is one session really enough to make a difference?

It's enough to install the system. The communication approach, the specific techniques for your dog's issues, and the plan going forward. You will keep building on it long after the session ends, using the teachings, notes, and the exercises.

Do you come to my home?

Yes. Always. Your dog's actual behaviour happens in your space, not in a rented classroom, so that's where we train.

Who has to attend?

Everyone who regularly spends time with your dog: family members, and any regular sitter or dog walker. This is what makes the results stick.

What if I have more than 1 dog?

No extra charge. We train them together if they're working on similar skills, or split focus if they need different approaches. Either way, your whole pack is covered in one 3-hour session.
